According to The Daily Mail, The missiles began raining down on the central city of Dnipro at 4 AM this morning, with one striking a house where Olga Bilash, 31, and her two-year-old daughter were sleeping, killing them both. Four others were wounded.
Shocking photographs of the destroyed house continue to surface. Some show that the blackened wall is a partial building. Others show the highchair, which is covered in rubble. The image of the highchair is haunting.
However, Dnipro was not the only city grieving. Cruise missiles also rained down on Uman, where families woke to the sound of the missiles crashing into their homes. Two slammed into a nine-story building, killing two children that were only ten years old. Approximately 17 other people were injured.
Survivors wept as neighbors and family members were carted away in body bags. Firefighters clung to hope that there may be survivors.
In Kyiv, there was more devastation. The capital city suffered one of its first attacks in two months. Air raid sirens blared throughout the early morning, beginning at 4 AM.
Russia continues to push westward in Ukraine as it holds the territory in the east. Moscow has frequently launched long-range missile attacks during the 14-month war, often indiscriminately hitting civilian areas. however, these attacks werent near the frontline.
