Here Is The Latest GOP Member To Endorse Trump For 2024 Election

Former President Trump announced his plan to run for the White House months ago, and his campaign continues to pick up steam as he hits the campaign trail.

The latest endorsement of Trump is enormous news.

Representative Lee Zeldin from New York led a charismatic campaign that landed him a spot in Congress in 2022 and made him a GOP favorite. Now, hes announced that he supports former President Trump.

Zeldin took to Twitter to announce his endorsement. According to The Gateway Pundit, The GOP is filled with amazing talent to save our country from the failed policies of the Biden Admin. Our nominee in 2024 will be the 45th & 47th POTUS, Donald Trump, Zeldin wrote on Twitter, endorsing the former President.

Zeldin pointed out how more robust the economy will be with Trump for President. He said that people would be free, and the streets will be safer.

This comes as huge news for everyone on the Trump train. Because Zeldin is quickly gaining popularity among the GOP, his endorsements have helped multiple candidates get elected in various races. However, he was recently seen with DeSantis on DeSantis book tour. This led many people to speculate that Zeldin would be backing DeSantis.

Zeldin recently lost the race for governor, but that hasnt made him any less popular. According to The Hill, Zeldin has served as a congressional representative representing much of Long Island since 2015, and last year he ran as the Republican gubernatorial candidate in New York. He was ultimately defeated by incumbent Gov. Kathy Hochul (D) in the heavily Democratic state, though strategists credited Zeldins strong campaign with helping down-ballot candidates to victory.

Trump isnt just getting support from the Empire State. While DeSantis was wooing the GOP in Washington DC, multiple Floridians supported former President Trump.

DeSantis has not announced an official run for President yet. Hes previously stated that if he does make the announcement, it will come after the Florida legislative session, which is set to end next month. With so many supporters backing Trump, DeSantis will start behind him if he waits too long to hit the campaign trail.
