In a recent episode of Fox News' "Hannity," host Sean Hannity confronted Michael LaRosa, a former special assistant to President Biden, over the latter's defense of the ex-President's cognitive health.

Hannity, known for his forthright style, did not mince words, accusing LaRosa of being "full of crap."

The mainstream media and Democrats have only recently started scrutinizing Biden's tenure as president, triggered by the publication of a revealing book. This comes despite longstanding concerns raised by Republicans. Hannity, during his show, grilled LaRosa on whether he had noticed any cognitive decline in Biden during his White House stint.

Hannity challenged LaRosa, saying, "Michael, youre going to come on this program, and youre going to look America in the eye, and youre going to tell us that you did not see any cognitive decline in Joe Biden? Because we saw it. We chronicled it starting in 2019. Youre going to tell us that?"

LaRosa attempted to counter Hannity's claims, stating, "Well, I am because Ive been very consistent about that, Sean, with all of your colleagues on all of the Fox News programming since I left the White House at the end of 2022. That my three years " However, Hannity promptly cut him off.

According to WND, a book titled "Original Sin," authored by CNN's Jake Tapper and Axios' Alex Thompson, was released in May. The book details concerns about Biden's cognitive health during his presidency. The authors, who interviewed several sources, revealed that aides were so worried about Biden that they contemplated putting him in a wheelchair after the 2020 election.

Hannity, not convinced by LaRosa's defense, interjected, "Michael, let me interrupt you. I dont believe you. I think youre full of crap. Let me be honest. Let me be straight here. We play we have tape after tape after tape. I could spend the next hour."

Hannity continued, "We spent an hour on Friday playing him struggling, shaking air, not knowing where to go, talking to dead people. He could barely utter a sentence. He was a shell of his former self. Now, either you dont have eyes to see or ears to hear or youre just, you know, politically blinded. If Im going to be charitable or just a political hack. But you cant say you didnt see it. I dont believe you.

During Biden's presidency, videos circulated online showing him misspeaking and appearing confused. The White House's former press secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre, dismissed these videos as "cheap fakes," arguing they were manipulated to make Biden look bad. She pointed the finger at Republicans.

LaRosa responded to Hannity's accusations, saying, "OK, so, Sean, you have the highest rated programming on Fox News, on the highest rated cable network. In 2019 and 2020, the American people saw the same thing, had the same access that you did. He still won by seven million votes and has the most votes ever received by any president in American history. Im not here to defend the cover-up.

Hannity, undeterred, continued to press LaRosa on whether he had noticed Biden's decline during the 2024 presidential debate against President Donald Trump. LaRosa admitted that it was during this debate that he and "many people" first became aware of Biden's cognitive issues.

Hannity retorted, "I dont believe any of you. I just dont believe it. I think youre so politically biased. You cant see through. You hate Trump so much you cant see through the lens of politics."

In June 2024, Biden's cognitive health became a topic of national conversation when he appeared on stage with Trump. His performance, marked by incomplete arguments and a moment where he froze mid-sentence, led to Democrats questioning his ability to serve another term.

A group of Democrat lawmakers called for Biden to step down, with party donors withholding support until he was removed from the ticket. By July 21, Biden announced his withdrawal from the 2024 race, endorsing then-Vice President Kamala Harris as his preferred nominee for the party.
