WATCH: Democrats Accuse Republicans Of Fueling 'Trans Hate Campaign' With This New Bill

House Republicans passed the Save Womens Sports bill with only Republican votes in the House.

Fox News reports that Democrats in the House have referred to the account as transgender bullying. However, the point of the bill was to stop biological males from participating in womens sports. That is all that Republicans are attempting to do with this legislation.

The Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act passed by a vote of 219-203 on Tuesday along party lines. Republicans say that the bill will protect women and girls from unfair competition standards if they have to compete against biological males in their sports. However, Democrats insisted the bill was an extension of bullying against transgender individuals.

This bill is about bullying children, said Rep. Greg Landsman, D-Ohio, and Stop bullying children.

House Republicans are choosing to bully and belittle trans children, were the words of Rep. Robert Garcia, D-Calif.

Other Democrats went on to say that this bill would make sports less safe for transgender athletes and for the transgender community as a whole. Rep. Mark Takano, D-Calif. Said, This debate itself has been traumatizing.

Republicans in the House rejected these arguments and insisted the bill was about protecting women and girls. They dont want to see sports for women and girls taken over by unfair competition from biological males. They also pointed out that Democrats ignore the natural advantages of being born male and competing in female sports. They also rejected the Democrat argument that Republicans are waging a hate campaign against the transgender community.

We hate no one, said Republican Representative Foxx. He said: It is ridiculous that we have had to stand here today to defend the rights of women and girls to participate in sports against other women and girls and they not being taken advantage of by biological males.
