President Trump has announced the appointment of Fox News host Mark Levin, along with several other prominent figures, to spearhead his "revamped" Homeland Security Advisory Council (HSAC).

In a statement shared on Truth Social, Trump expressed his pride in the formation of the council, emphasizing that it comprises "Top Experts in their field, who are highly respected by their peers."

As reported by The New York Post, Levin, known for his role as the host of "Life, Liberty & Levin" on Fox News, will collaborate with former NYPD detective Bo Dietl, South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster, and Florida state Senator Joseph Gruters.

Trump expressed confidence in the new members, stating, "It is a big honor to serve on HSAC, and I know the new Members, South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster, Mark Levin, Bo Dietl, and Joseph Gruters, will do an incredible job."

Under the guidance of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, the council is tasked with crafting policies aimed at fortifying border security, deporting "Illegal Criminal Thugs," and curbing the influx of fentanyl and other illicit substances, with the overarching goal to "MAKE AMERICA SAFE AGAIN."

Levin, despite his recent critiques of the Trump administration's stance on Ukraine, expressed gratitude for the appointment, writing on X, "What an honor! Thank you, Mr. President!"

This development follows the dismantling of the DHS advisory board at the onset of Trump's presidency. The administration justified the decision as a measure to prevent "misuse of resources," particularly in light of the Biden administration's controversial attempt to establish a "Disinformation Governance Board."
