UK Government's Pro-Transgender Policies In Doubt As Census Question Causes Massive Confusion...

According to a report from Breitbart, its been determined the 2021 Census taken in the United Kingdom is inaccurate in its counting of trans individuals, providing an overly inflated number in Wales and England.

The Office of National Statistics claims that 262,000 individuals spread across both countries claimed to be transgender when asked. The percentage is roughly 0.5 percent of the total population.

The miscalculation is being blamed on the English language and the lack of understanding of the language by foreign migrants.

The Telegraph reports that experts believe the figure is inaccurate. Foreign migrants with bad English did not understand the question and answered that they were transgender by mistake.

Scientists found after compiling census data that those with a migrant background and poor English were prone to have claimed to be transgender.

The data also notes that areas with a substantial migrant population are disproportionately transgender. The report also cites one in 67 Muslims are trans, although experts find those figures unbelievable.

The confusion of non-native English speakers is reportedly blamed on the question asked about being transgender. The question posed on the document asks, Is the gender you identify with the same as your sex registered at birth?

Those whose first language is English, as well as those who are familiar with modern trans politics in the media, would be easily understood. How it is worded added a level of confusion for those with poor English-speaking skills.

Michael Biggs of the University of Oxford said, The ONS were so focused on how trans people would respond to the question and if it would hurt peoples feelings, and I think, as a result, they didnt think about the vast majority of people and those who dont share the same language.

Biggs added, Professional, managerial-class people have had the training on gender language and gender identity. But a lot of people working on building sites or cleaning hospitals, for example, those are the people that I think are confused, and if ONS had asked, Are you trans? It would have been simpler, but the way they have formed the question, you are directed to the wrong answer, or at least its generated confusion.

The end result of the data makes it highly likely there are fewer transgender individuals in Wales and England than the census figures showed.
