Artie Lange Bids Farewell To Longtime Family Home As Fans Wonder About Website Shutdown

The Post has learned that comedian Artie Lange has decided to sell his family home of 20 years and that his website is shutting down as well.

Records show that Lange purchased the house in 2003 for $429,000, according to public records. The home consists of two bedrooms and three bathrooms, and Lange transferred the deed from his mother, Judith, and his sister Stacey in 2021 while he was undergoing a court-ordered drug treatment program.

Information uncovered by the Post found that the family spent much of the pandemic at home. Still, the property is no longer suitable for his mother, who is having health issues. The property was listed for $679,000 and is pending a contract, and is expected to close within the next few weeks.

The property is in Roseland Green and is listed as low in property taxes. Other amenities are upsides to this property, including a swimming pool, sports, tennis, and playground.

Lange is leaving home behind, but he still has two condo units in Hoboken, New Jersey, that he can use. However, one insider says he lives in a studio in Mountainside and focuses on his health.

At the same time, the comedians long-time website, ArtieQuitter.com, has also shut down unexpectedly. This is worrisome to fans because the site previously listed tour dates and other information about Artie Langes professional schedule and work. That leaves some wondering if he will continue to work on his shows or if this is the end of his career (at least temporarily).

The New York Post reached out to representatives for Artie Lange for comment, but they had yet to hear back in time for publication. For the most part, the comedian has remained mostly off the grid for the last few years. The comedian has also been very open about his struggles with drug use in recent years, and he also spoke about how he underwent a drug treatment program recently. He completed the program.

He wrote on Twitter: Happy to announce that Ive completed the NJ drug court program, and Thx to my family and friends and fans for all your support.

He spent more than three years in the program after a judge ordered him to either be in this program or face jail time. However, since the completion of that treatment, the comedian has only posted a handful of times on social media and sporadically. This leaves many wondering what is next for Lange.
