WATCH: Whos Really In Charge? Dr. Jill Takes Over Joe Bidens First Cabinet Meeting In A Year

In a surprising turn of events, President Joe Biden convened his first Cabinet meeting in almost a year last Friday.

The meeting, however, was not led by the President himself, but by his wife, Dr. Jill Biden. This unusual occurrence has raised eyebrows among some observers, who question the appropriateness of the First Lady assuming such a role.

According to WND, the mainstream media, often accused of bias, has largely portrayed this unusual arrangement as normal. Vice President Kamala Harris was notably absent from the meeting, and Dr. Jill Biden stepped in to fill her role. The First Lady's participation in the meeting was highlighted by MSNBC, which praised her for using the opportunity to address women's health issues.

President Biden introduced his wife's participation by saying, This is the first time that Jill has joined us and that goes to show how important the issue is she is about to speak to with us, He continued, And Jill is going to give an update on the White House initiative to fundamentally change how we approach womens health services. He then handed over the floor to his wife, stating, So, Id like to turn it over to Jill for any comment that she has. Its all yours kid.

Dr. Jill Biden, sitting at the head of the table, proceeded to provide updates on the White House's "initiative on women's health research." This unusual arrangement has led some to question, somewhat facetiously, when Jill Biden became president.

The meeting came at a critical juncture for the Biden administration. A White House official revealed that President Biden would instruct his Cabinet members to "sprint to the finish," as he seeks to cement his legacy and implement as much of his agenda as possible before the potential return of former President Donald Trump.

The official stated, He will direct his Cabinet to get as much work done as possible whether that is moving funding out the door, announcing new programs or policies or delivering on programs and policies we have already announced.

This meeting, held almost a year after the last one and just four months before the next presidential inauguration, found Biden in a drastically different position. No longer a candidate, he now faces the final months of his term. His unexpected withdrawal from the race over the summer prompted White House officials to hastily assemble a final-months agenda that hadn't been considered before his decision.

As his term winds down, Biden seeks to ensure Americans are aware of his accomplishments, while also making his record as irreversible as possible, should Trump return to the Oval Office.
