Tucker Carlson, co-founder of the Daily Caller, is set to make a significant career shift that promises to be nothing short of electrifying.
In a recent conversation with Old Row, Carlson revealed his plans to introduce his own brand of nicotine pouch, designed to rival Zyn, a well-known product from the tobacco behemoth, Philip Morris International.
According to the Daily Caller, Carlson, a long-time aficionado of the Zyn product, has decided to abandon it due to the $18,200 in donations made by Philip Morris stakeholders to Kamala Harris during this election cycle. The website for Carlson's new venture, ALP, is already live, indicating a launch date in November. The product line will initially feature two flavors, Chilled Mint and Mountain Wintergreen, each containing 6mg of nicotine. Unlike Zyn's 15 pouches per can, ALP will offer 20 pouches.
The website proudly announces, The all-new nicotine pouch by Tucker Carlson. ALP satisfies and frees your mind. At ALP, we believe in a better time. This news has been hailed as the most exciting development in recent times, with some equating the anticipation to the exhilaration of hearing the Red Hot Chili Peppers' guitar solo in "Wet Sand" for the first time.
It's surprising to note that Philip Morris, whose core consumer base is predominantly white, male, and conservative, would support Democrats and Harris. Especially considering Harris's running mate, Tim Walz, proposed a 95% tax on nicotine pouches during his term as Minnesota's Governor. This move seems to be a clear disregard for the company's primary market.
Carlson, a former advocate of Zyn, was even seen using the product at the 204 RNC prior to his speech. In a 2023 interview with comedian Theo Von, he challenged the medical community's views by suggesting that Zyn could potentially cure erectile dysfunction and boost male sexual performance.
Scoops Delacroix of the Daily Caller confirmed the benefits of Zyn in a column following the interview. However, with the introduction of Carlson's product, the landscape is set to change. The dominance of Philip Morris may be under threat, and a boycott could be imminent. Perhaps ALP, not Zyn, will be the savior for American men in the bedroom.
As we await the product review of ALP in November, readers are encouraged to subscribe to the weekly newsletter for updates.
