In a recent revelation, Christopher Rufo, a prominent investigative journalist, unveiled a disturbing video that was initially posted on social media on August 25, 2023.

The footage seemingly depicts individuals of African descent engaging in the act of grilling cats in Dayton, Ohio, a mere half-hour drive from Springfield. This incident is particularly noteworthy as it closely follows the contentious debate surrounding allegations of Haitian migrants consuming dogs and cats in the same region.

According to The Post Millennial, Rufo stated, "We identified a social media post, dated August 25, 2023, with a short video depicting what appear to be two skinned cats on top of a blue barbeque." The video, which was captioned "Yoooo the Africans wildn on Parkwood, is believed to refer to Parkwood Drive in Dayton. The footage also captures two cats strolling near a dilapidated fence, with a voiceover exclaiming, "There go a cat right there. His ass better get missin, man. Look like his homies on the grill!"

The source of the video, who wished to remain anonymous, confirmed to Rufo that the incident occurred while he was picking up his son from his ex-partner's residence. He was taken aback by the sight of what appeared to be cats being grilled by the African residents living next door. "It was some Africans that stay right next door to my kids mother," he said, as reported by Rufo. "This African dude next door had the damn cat on the grill."

Rufo's investigative team delved deeper into the matter, reaching out to families residing in the identified apartment units. One such family hailed from the Democratic Republic of Congo and confirmed the presence of numerous other African nationals in the vicinity. A resident disclosed that the previous tenants owned a blue grill, similar to the one featured in the video, and the patriarch of the family would venture into the neighborhood with a knife to "find meat."

The grill was left behind, allowing Rufo's team to verify its make and model, confirming its match with the one in the video. This incident has sparked a broader debate, with former President Donald Trump raising concerns during a recent debate with Kamala Harris. Trump cited worries expressed by Springfield residents at city council meetings and other forums about Haitian refugees, who arrived in the U.S. under the Biden-Harris administration's refugee resettlement program, consuming cats, dogs, and protected Canadian geese. These migrants are entitled to full welfare benefits, ranging from food stamps to housing and medical care.
