What A Joke: 'WORST Mayor In America,' Tiffany Henyard, Strikes AGAIN!

The mayor of Dolton, Illinois, Tiffany Henyard, has been embroiled in a series of allegations and investigations, earning her the dubious title of "the worst mayor in America," according to Gateway Pundit.

Despite the ongoing investigations, Henyard has been accused of extravagant spending, including a lavish party that was poorly attended.

As reported by Gateway Pundit, Henyard is said to have spent a staggering $85,000 on a party in August, featuring performances by R&B singer Keke Wyatt and rapper J. Holiday. However, media reports suggest that the event was attended by a mere 70 people. WGN Investigates provides a breakdown of the expenses, revealing that "Keke Wyatt was paid $30,000 to sing for 30 minutes. J. Holiday was paid $20,000 for a half-hour set. The township spent $6,600 to rent inflatable bounce houses." The total cost, including comedians, a sound system, staff, and equipment, amounted to at least $85,769.

Lansing resident Jennifer Robertz expressed her outrage at the expenditure, stating, I was flabbergasted. I was pissed off. Thats my money. Thats the peoples money.

Henyard's spending habits are not the only cause for concern. The mayor is also under FBI investigation for alleged abuse of power, including shutting down businesses that did not contribute to her campaign. In a further twist, Henyard reportedly vetoed a unanimous decision by The Dolton Village Board to investigate accusations of misuse of funds for extravagant expenses and a costly $1 million security detail.

In response to these allegations, residents hired former Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot to conduct an investigation.

The findings, which revealed a shocking level of reckless spending, including a single-day expenditure of $40,000 at Amazon, left the audience gasping. Lightfoot's report also disclosed that Dolton is facing a deficit of at least $3.6 million, with an additional $6 million in unpaid checks owed to village vendors.

Adding to the village's financial woes, Lightfoot revealed that the village has failed to comply with state law by not filing annual financial reports. The villages general fund, which covers the majority of its expenses, has plummeted from a multimillion-dollar surplus to a deficit of nearly $5.5 million in just two years.

The litany of allegations against Henyard also includes claims of 'unethical and predatory behavior' by one of her former assistants. As the investigations continue, the residents of Dolton are left grappling with the fallout of their mayor's alleged misconduct.
