Quite A Trend! Another Lifelong Democrat ABANDONS Party!

In a surprising turn of events, former California Senate Majority Leader Gloria Romero, a lifelong Democrat, has publicly renounced her party affiliation, opting instead to align with the Republican party.

Romero's decision, which she announced with the words, "Today I say goodbye, adios, I've had enough," marks a significant shift in her political stance.

According to One America News, Romero's decision was driven by her perception of the Democratic party's shift towards the far-left. "This is a Democratic Party that I no longer recognized," she declared. "It has moved so far to the left, its been the party that marched towards war, towards censorship, towards authoritarianism."

Romero also expressed her dissatisfaction with the performance of Democrat nominee Kamala Harris during her tenure as California's attorney general. She criticized Harris's failure to implement education reforms and her tendency to favor large donors over the needs of struggling students in California. "Her record as attorney general showed that she did nothing to change the schools, to provide for school choice," Romero stated. "In her hometown of Oakland, Calif., today, 75% of both African-American and Latino children are not reading or doing math at basic levels of proficiency, and yet, she went to court with the teachers union very powerful big donors to block education reforms that these families had the courage to go to court and sue over."

Romero further criticized Harris for her attempt to "pass a bill that looked to jail mothers of students who were truant and not going to school." She also noted that several of her Democrat colleagues are considering either changing their party registration or voting for GOP candidate Donald Trump, citing issues such as "the absence of school choice, education freedom, open borders, crime rampant a mockery of citizenship itself."

Romero's decision, she says, is a reflection of a broader sentiment among Californians. "Blue California may be blue, but people are ready to vote for change, to make America great again, and I take pride in saying that today," she added.

The political landscape is set to heat up further as Trump and Harris prepare for a high-stakes debate scheduled for Tuesday, September 10th. The 90-minute debate, which will air live on ABC News at 9pm ET, is expected to be a pivotal moment in the campaign. Trump, having won a coin toss, will have the final word in the debate. Despite requests from Harris's camp for debate notes and unmuted mics, ABC has declined to grant these requests.

As the political landscape continues to shift and evolve, it is clear that the upcoming debate will be a crucial moment in the campaign. With former Democrats like Romero switching sides, the stakes have never been higher.
