Kamala Harris Flip-Flops Again: This Time Reversing THIS Ban!

In a surprising turn of events, Kamala Harris, the current Vice President and Democratic presidential nominee for 2024, has reversed her stance on a key environmental policy.

The Harris campaign announced on Thursday that the Vice President no longer supports the ban on plastic straws, a policy she initially championed as part of her eco-friendly agenda.

According to One America News, a campaign official stated, "She doesn't support banning plastic straws." The official further explained, "She joked even then about how crappy paper straws are and the need to come up with better eco-friendly alternatives." Despite this policy reversal, the Harris campaign insists that the Vice President remains committed to combating climate change, though they did not elaborate on her specific environmental concerns.

The official further emphasized Harris's commitment to the environment, stating, "She cast the tie-breaking vote on the most consequential legislation to combat climate change and create clean energy jobs in history, and as president, she is going to be focused on expanding on that progress."

This policy shift is the latest in a series of "flip-flops" from Harris, including her revised stance on strengthening the border wall, her withdrawal of support for Medicare for All, and her reversal on taxing tips. In 2022, Harris had supported legislation that allowed the IRS to tax workers' tips.

Moreover, Harris has also altered her position on fracking following criticism from former President Trump. She now asserts that "we can grow and we can increase a thriving clean energy economy," without the need for a fracking ban.

Perhaps the most striking change in Harris's policy is her newfound support for Trump's border wall, a project she once described as "medieval" and "un-American." She had previously vowed not to vote for its funding "under any circumstances." However, she now supports a bipartisan bill that would continue funding the development of the border wall, even featuring it in her recent campaign advertisements.

These policy reversals have raised eyebrows, particularly as Harris has not directly addressed these changes. Instead, she often deflects or provides vague responses when questioned by reporters.
