Former President Donald Trump was a guest at the "Moms for Liberty" National Summit in Washington DC on Friday evening, where he participated in a discussion with Tiffany Justice, co-founder of Moms for Liberty.
The conversation revolved around the recent incidents of parents being labeled as domestic terrorists by the Federal Government and Merrick Garland's Department of Justice for voicing their concerns at school board meetings under the Biden/Harris administration.
According to Gateway Pundit, Trump expressed his views on the matter, stating, The parents truly love the kids, OK? Some of these people on the boards, I dont think like the kids very much. He further criticized the current administration, saying, This administration, its like the FBI goes after the people like its some kind of an insurrection.
Justice echoed Trump's sentiments, saying, They called us domestic terrorists, President Trump, for speaking out at school board meetings. To which Trump responded, Well, well change that on the first day, I promise you, and added, You are not a domestic terrorist or a terrorist.
The former president also shared his thoughts on the ongoing border crisis, emphasizing that it can be resolved without the need for legislation. You can close the border. You dont need a bill, you know they keep saying well just give us a bill. They had the worst bill Ive ever seen. It was a disaster and they wouldnt have signed it anyway because they do want open borders, Trump said. Justice agreed with Trump's perspective, saying, I absolutely agree with you.
Trump also lightened the atmosphere with a humorous comment about TDS or Trump Derangement Syndrome. He described it as a "horrible, horrible terminal disease. It destroys the mind. It destroys the mind before the body, but the body eventually goes. TDS is Trump Derangement Syndrome.' This comment, along with his other statements, underscored his conservative perspective and his commitment to traditional values and individual freedom.
