Has He Lost His Mind? What James Carville Just Said About Republicans And Israel Will Leave You Speechless!

James Carville, a seasoned Democratic strategist, recently expressed his belief that the Republican Party's staunch support for Israel over the Palestinians is rooted in racial bias.

This assertion was made during a recent episode of the "Politics War Room" podcast, where Carville and co-host Al Hunt delved into the reasons behind the partisan divide in support for Israel.

According to Fox News, Carville suggested that the Republican Party's unified support for Israel is primarily due to the perceived racial difference between Israelis and Palestinians. He stated, "And the reason I suspect that most of these people describe themselves as pro-Israel is because the Jews are whiter than the Palestinians." This comment was made in response to a question about how a party that has "openly embraced" the "alt-right" and "neo-Nazis" can present itself as the "most pro-Israel party."

Carville further argued that the party's racial bias, rather than any policy prescription, fuels its support for Israel. He said, "Its really about the misogyny and the racism that drives the thing, and we got to recognize that. Its not about any policy prescription." He added that the GOP's preference for the "whiter" Jews over Palestinians is a clear manifestation of this bias.

The conversation also touched on the paradox of pro-Palestinian protesters focusing their efforts on disrupting Democratic Party events, despite the Republican Party's stronger support for Israel. Carville quoted a pro-Palestinian activist to explain this dynamic, saying, "So, the reason that they say were targeting Democrats is because, well, we think they would be more open-minded about this. But were not going to do anything to the Republicans because were not gonna have any influence."

Carville also highlighted the upcoming Democratic National Convention, where anti-Israel agitators are planning to demonstrate. He expressed his frustration over the Democratic Party having to deal with this issue, while the GOP remains unaffected. He lamented, "Well, thats just some dumb--- political s---."

The strategist criticized the protesters' strategy, arguing that it undermines the party most likely to resolve the issue satisfactorily. He said, "So, youre going to hurt the person that actually has the best chance of resolving this issue in a satisfactory way cause you cant influence the other person."

Earlier this year, Carville cautioned pro-Palestinian voters against organizing a protest vote in the Michigan Democratic primary against the Biden/Harris administration due to its continued support for Israel. He told MSNBC host Jen Psaki in February, "Well already, no matter what happens, I know its a huge problem. And the uncommitted will do fairly well."
