Renowned conservative commentator Mark Levin has launched a scathing critique of the mainstream media, accusing it of being a mouthpiece for the Democrat Party and failing to represent the American people.
In a recent opinion editorial for The Blaze, Levin argued that the media has a long history of covering up for Democrat leaders and spreading misinformation.
"They represent the Democrat Party base," Levin stated, pointing out that the media has historically protected figures like Woodrow Wilson and Franklin Roosevelt, despite their health issues. He also accused the media of lying about John Kennedy's conditions and misrepresenting the atrocities committed by Stalin and Castro.
Levin also took aim at the media's portrayal of current political figures, particularly President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. He accused the media of lying about Biden's cognitive condition and attempting to erase Harris's past to present her as a savior of democracy. He also criticized the media for its treatment of JD Vance, a conservative figure who Levin believes embodies the American dream.
"The American media the Pravada media. The American media the Al Jazeera media of Qatar," Levin said, suggesting that the media in the US is akin to state-run media in other countries. He also criticized the influence of global corporations on news platforms, arguing that they do not serve America's interests.
Levin's critique extended to the election process, which he likened to a "dictator's election." He accused Harris, the Democrat Party, and their media allies of establishing narratives by repeating them on various platforms while censoring and smearing the opposition.
Levin also criticized Harris's policy positions, accusing her of flip-flopping on issues such as taxing tips, hiring border agents, and supporting radical climate change propositions. Despite these inconsistencies, Levin argued, the media continues to support her.
"She is now, today, as I speak, supported by every radical, extremist, socialist, Marxist, anti-capitalist organization, but she says now she's for fracking, and the media say it's okay," Levin said.
In his concluding remarks, Levin condemned "the propagandists on TV" as "filthy, poisonous, cancerous liars who call themselves Democrats [and] the contemptible media that uses the free press to advance an autocratic notion of what this country should be to lie to the American people."
"Are we going to succumb to this?" he asked, challenging his readers to question the narratives presented by the mainstream media.
