Anita Dunn, a seasoned political advisor, has declared her impending departure from the Biden administration, set to occur next week.

Dunn, 66, will transition into a consulting role at Future Forward, the most influential Democratic super PAC. Her mission? To leverage her extensive experience in the political arena to bolster Kamala Harris's image among the American populace as the vice president aspires to the nation's top office.

According to The Post Millennial, this move by Dunn is the first of its kind, marking the initial instance of a high-ranking official from the current administration shifting gears to lend their expertise to Harris's nascent campaign. Whether this move will trigger a trend among other officials is yet to be determined.

Dunn expressed her gratitude for her tenure in the White House, stating, Its been an honor and privilege to serve in this White House, with this president and this team, during this transformational term. I am grateful to President Biden and Vice President Harris for their leadership and giving me the opportunity to be part of what they have accomplished for the American people."

President Biden, upon hearing of Dunn's resignation, issued his own statement. "I've known Anita throughout my career," he shared. "She's served our nation through three Administrations and countless campaigns for candidates at every level. She's not only a key senior member of our team that helped us win a historic election in 2020 shes also been an invaluable part of our White House. She's tough and tested, and her experience and intellect have helped us deliver historic results for the American people. I deeply value her counsel and friendship and I will continue to rely on her partnership and insights as we finish the job over the next six months."

Dunn's political career has been long and varied. As reported by the Times, she started as a White House intern during the Jimmy Carter administration, later contributing to several campaigns, including Barack Obama's in 2008 and 2012. She co-founded the consulting firm SKDK, joined the Biden campaign in 2020, and made her return to the White House two years later.
