Donald Trump Jr., the son of former President Donald Trump, has issued a stern warning to the young admirers of his 17-year-old daughter, Kai.
This comes after her recent appearance at the Republican National Convention (RNC) which has led to a surge in attention from teenage boys. "Get away you little btards and stay away," Trump Jr. declared on Fox News, responding to host Laura Ingraham's comments about the sudden increase in Kai's popularity.
According to The New York Post, Kai Trump rose to prominence this week following her heartfelt speech at the RNC, where she expressed admiration for her grandfather, the former President. "He always encourages me to be the most successful person I can be," she said. "Obviously he sets the bar pretty high. But who knows? Maybe one day Ill catch him." The young Trump also expressed her deep affection for her grandfather, stating, "Grandpa, you are such an inspiration, and I love you."
In her speech, Kai defended her grandfather against media portrayals, asserting, "The media makes my grandpa seem like a different person, but I know him for who he is. Hes very caring and loving. He truly wants the best for this country, and he will fight every single day to make America great again."
Following her RNC appearance, Kai became a trending topic on X (formerly Twitter), with users praising her as "classy" and "beautiful." Despite his protective stance, Trump Jr. couldn't hide his pride for his daughter's performance. He shared on X, "As a father, I could not be more proud of my daughter Kai and the amazing job she did last night. She reached out to me on Monday morning and simply said she feels very strongly that she wants to talk about her grandfather at the RNC and she nailed it!"
This event underscores the enduring influence of the Trump family within the Republican party, and perhaps hints at a future political role for the younger generation of Trumps.
