WATCH: Bill Maher Predicts The EXACT Date Biden Will Drop Out...

In a recent episode of HBO's Real Time with Bill Maher, the host made a bold prediction about the political future of President Joe Biden.

Maher forecasted the exact date he believes Biden will withdraw from the presidential race, suggesting a range of potential successors for the 81-year-old incumbent.

According to The Decider, Maher's list of possible replacements included figures such as Gavin Newsom, Kamala Harris, Pete Buttigieg, and Gretchen Whitmer. He confidently declared, "Biden is toast," and humorously suggested that Biden would choose August 9 for his departure, a date infamous for being the day Richard Nixon resigned in 1974 due to the Watergate scandal.

"The issue with President Biden isnt if, its who," Maher stated. "Who will replace him? Because he is not going to be the Democrats candidate for president in 2024, all due respect." The late-night host and comedian expressed his belief that Biden's chances are slim due to the ruthless nature of American press and politics, which he likened to "mean girls" who will stop at nothing to dismantle a "vulnerable person."

"Biden is toast. The walls will keep crumbling and my pick in the office pool for when he gives it up is August 9," Maher reiterated. He also downplayed the potential shock of such a transition, stating, "Yes, replacing a president as his partys candidate this late will seem like a big deal. For about three days, and then well all be over it."

Maher also touched on the potential historical significance of a Harris presidency, which would mark the first time a female, black woman, and Asian individual served as president. However, he dismissed these factors as irrelevant to his voting decision. "I dont vote for who will be the first, I vote for who would win and for whatever reason, Harris has never been popular," Maher said, criticizing her 2020 presidential run. "You can count the number of delegates she won in the 2020 primaries on one hand, as long as that hand has no fingers." He also noted her relative silence during her vice presidency, stating, "In three years as vice president, she has been quieter than an electric car."

Maher further expanded on his suggestions for Biden's replacement, introducing lesser-known governors like Wes Moore (MD.), Andy Beshear (KY.), Josh Shapiro (PA.) Jared Polis (CO.) and JB Pritzker (IL.). "No one knows who these people are, and thats good. We need some new characters on this sitcom we call a country," Maher said.

Maher's predictions and commentary, while speculative, reflect a broader conversation about the future of the Democratic party and the potential for new leadership. As the political landscape continues to evolve, the question remains: who will step up to the plate if Biden steps down? Only time will tell.
