OUCH! Even Adam Schiff Questioning Biden's Strength Against Trump

In a recent interview, Representative Adam Schiff expressed his belief that President Biden should be outperforming former President Donald Trump, attributing the current competitive landscape to Biden's advanced age.

Schiff, a Democrat from California, stopped short of suggesting that Biden, 81, should withdraw from the race. However, he did urge the President to seek advice from those with "distance and objectivity" on whether it's time to pass the baton.

According to The New York Post, Schiff stated, "Given Joe Bidens incredible record, given Donald Trumps terrible record, he should be mopping the floor with Donald Trump. Joe Biden is running against a criminal. It should not be even close." He further added, "Theres only one reason it is close, and thats the Presidents age." Schiff's comments came during an appearance on NBC News Meet the Press on Sunday.

The context of Schiff's remarks is the upcoming Nov. 5 presidential election, which has taken on heightened significance following the Supreme Court's recent decision to grant sitting presidents absolute immunity for official acts. This decision has intensified the scrutiny on Biden, who has been facing questions about his age and vitality, particularly after his recent debate with Trump.

Despite the concerns and the calls from five House Democrats for him to step aside in the 2024 presidential election after what was perceived as a disastrous debate, President Biden remains resolute. He has insisted that he will stay in the race, stating that only the "Lord Almighty" could persuade him otherwise. This steadfastness, while admirable, does not alleviate the concerns surrounding his age and the potential implications for his ability to effectively lead the nation.
