In a recent address at the Faith and Freedom Coalition's 15th annual Road to Majority Conference in Washington, D.C., former President Donald Trump expressed his commitment to combating anti-Christian bias.

According to WND, Trump criticized the current administration, accusing President Joe Biden of using the Justice Department to unfairly target pro-life activists.
"Joe Biden has weaponized the Justice Department to viciously prosecute pro-life activists," Trump declared. He further promised to create a federal task force to combat anti-Christian bias, stating, "Its mission will be to investigate all forms of illegal discrimination, harassment, and persecution against Christians in America. Its taking place at a level that nobody can believe. This is not America any more that we are living in.
Trump highlighted the case of Paulette Harlow, a 75-year-old woman who was recently sentenced to two years in prison for singing outside an abortion clinic, a violation of the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act (FACE Act). Harlow, in an earlier conversation with The Daily Signal, had said, I felt like it was a tremendous privilege to stand in the court on behalf of the unborn, who have no voice.
The Biden administration, on the other hand, maintains that the FACE Act is crucial for ensuring the health and safety of women seeking abortions.
Trump's speech, which lasted nearly 90 minutes, covered a range of topics including the border crisis, the economy, inflation, and crime. He also discussed his own legal challenges, dismissing them as unfounded. His address was met with enthusiastic responses from the crowd, who frequently interrupted his speech with chants of support.
Trump, who has delivered nine speeches at the Road to Majority Conference, compared the robust economy during his tenure with the current economic downturn and inflation under the Biden administration. He also contrasted his stance on abortion, which he believes should be a state issue, with the federal government's current approach.
Trump praised the three justices he appointed to the Supreme Court, who voted in 2022 to overturn the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision that legalized abortion nationwide. Thanks to these justices, we have what the pro-life movement has fought for for 49 years and weve gotten abortion out of the federal government, Trump said. Now, the people will decide, and thats the way it should be. Some states will be more conservative. Some states will be more liberal.
Trump warned against the Democrats' alleged desire to impose a federal law on abortion, which he claimed would allow for late-term abortions and even post-birth executions. He referred to former Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam, a Democrat, who had seemingly supported the idea of allowing a baby who survived an abortion to be killed.
While Trump affirmed his pro-life stance, he made exceptions for cases involving the life of the mother, rape, or incest. He urged voters to follow their conscience and help him get elected.
Trump, who was not initially scheduled to speak at the conference, revealed that his campaign staff had advised him to cancel his appearance at the Faith and Freedom Coalition event. However, he chose to attend, joking, I dont have the courage to do that.
He also addressed the Christian crowd, emphasizing the power they hold if they choose to vote. Christians go to church, but they dont vote that much, Trump said. Do you know how much power youll have if you vote? Just this time. In four years, I dont care.
Trump's commitment to combating anti-Christian bias and his staunch pro-life stance underscore his alignment with traditional values and individual freedom. His remarks at the conference reflect his dedication to these principles and his readiness to fight for them, should he be re-elected.
