Chaos In The Courtroom: Indianapolis Paternity Hearing Turns Into An All-Out BRAWL (Insane Video)

Written by Published

A paternity suit in an Indianapolis courtroom resulted in three people being arrested.

What was meant to be a typical day in court turned into a massive fight with things thrown across the room.

The incident brought two families to the courtroom. During a video, a woman squares up to fight another woman. Two people are seen punching someone thats on the floor. Thats not all, though! According to rawstory.com, The man can be seen grabbing a computer monitor from a courtroom desk and throwing it into the ensuing brawl, striking one of the participants. Another person can be seen hurling a chair into the melee.

So far, two uncles and a grandmother have been arrested. One uncle was put in handcuffs for two counts of resisting arrest. One of the counts may be a felony. The grandmother received a misdemeanor charge for resisting arrest. Charges have already been requested for more family members involved in the courtroom brawl.

Throughout the video, no law enforcement is seen breaking up the fight. The Sheriffs office said more arrests might be made later, but theyre still investigating. According to them, the agency has become highly understaffed but is working to address the problem.

Per rawstory.com, a Marion County Sheriffs Office statement says, Its no secret that the Sheriffs Office has been and continues to be seriously short-staffed. Fortunately, we have recently won our lawsuit against the Indiana Law Enforcement Training Board (ILETB). Thus, in the future, the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA) will be providing standardized training for our Deputies. This and obtaining pay increases will hopefully address our understaffing.

The fact that no deputies were available to keep the courtroom safe and peaceful remains concerning. If this happens in a courthouse, one can only imagine whats happening on the streets. Hopefully, the understaffing issue gets resolved.
