Trump Faces New Blow: Will He Fight For THIS And Win?

Supporters of former President Donald Trump have expressed their outrage over allegations that the New York Police Department (NYPD) is set to revoke his gun carry license in the wake of his felony conviction.

In April 2023, Trump's concealed carry license was suspended following charges of falsifying business records, a total of 34 counts. Under this permit, Trump had registered three pistols, two of which were surrendered to the NYPD in April, while the third was legally transferred to Florida, according to sources who wished to remain anonymous.

The NYPD is reportedly preparing to revoke Trump's carry license after he was found guilty on all felony charges in his hush money trial. Federal law prohibits convicted felons from possessing firearms.

Supporters of Trump and the Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement have voiced their disapproval of the potential revocation of the former president's concealed carry license.

The @Travis_4_Trump social media account, boasting over 423,000 followers on X (formerly Twitter), posted: "Are you getting it yet? They convicted him on a ridiculous crime, and now they want to remove his secret service and any way to protect himself. Democrats are evil people."

Independent journalist Nick Sortor, a frequent contributor to right-wing news outlets and podcasts, commented: "NYPD is preparing to revoke President Trump's license to carry a firearm. Meanwhile, ACTUAL criminals continue to run around armed and free. Get out of New York."

Trump supporter Huey Jack expressed his concern, stating: "I know this comes with a felony conviction but man is that scary to see. Pay off your side chick [adult film star Stormy Daniels] lose the ability to protect your life as one of the most hated men in America."

Another supporter, James Parker, added: "Now you see what they are up to, going after him for some BS and trying to take away everything they possibly can in his life. Gun control is all about control."

Steven Cheung, a spokesman for Trump's campaign, responded to the allegations, stating: "Crooked Joe Biden's campaign is freaking out because, in spite of the ever-expanding legal Witch-Hunt against him, President Trump has established a persistent, growing lead in the polls.

"Biden's cronies in the Democrat Party are panicked and have chosen to continue to abuse our once great justice system to pursue their number one political opponent and interfere in the coming election. Crooked Joe is a failed president running a failing campaign and their desperate tactics are exhausting the American public. Only President Trump can Make America Great Again."

Despite the controversy, Trump continues to receive full-time Secret Service protection as a former president. It remains uncertain whether he still possesses the firearm he reportedly moved from New York to Florida.

Trump has pledged to appeal his felony conviction related to a $130,000 payment he arranged for Daniels to keep their alleged affair secret prior to the 2016 election. He also has the right to challenge the revocation of his gun carry license.

Trump is scheduled to be sentenced on July 11, just days before the Republican National Convention where he is anticipated to be named the party's 2024 nominee.
