Renowned comedian Rosie O'Donnell recently made an appearance on a TikTok livestream hosted by Michael Cohen, former attorney to Donald Trump.
The livestream served as a platform for O'Donnell to extend her support to Cohen amidst his entanglement in Trump's ongoing legal disputes.
During the livestream, O'Donnell bolstered Cohen's spirits, advising him "to not listen to all of this negative MAGA Sh*t" that he has been subjected to. She further commended Cohen for his "full turnaround in terms of telling the truth."
Cohen, who has been hosting nightly livestreams on TikTok for approximately an hour, aims to cultivate a supportive community and "to really vent" his frustrations, as reported by CNN. His inability to sleep due to the ongoing legal battles has been cited as a reason for these livestreams.
In one of his livestreams, Cohen made a bold statement, asserting that "Trumpism is fascism, and we must eradicate it from our body politic." He was also seen donning a shirt that depicted Trump behind bars in one of his videos.
Cohen has hinted at the possibility of running for office in the future during his TikTok sessions. Initially, his content was heavily focused on criticizing Trump. However, he has since toned down his remarks about the former president, as his words have been used against him in court proceedings.
During the trial's cross-examination, Cohen's TikTok comments, where he referred to Trump as a "dictator douchebag," were brought under scrutiny.
Despite Cohen's continuous commentary on the case and Trump, Judge Merchan has refrained from issuing a gag order against him. This stands in stark contrast to Trump, who has been subjected to a gag order prohibiting him from publicly discussing the case. Nevertheless, the judge did instruct prosecutors to advise Cohen to cease making public comments about the case and Trump.
Trump has previously expressed his discontent over the perceived double standard, stating, "There is no gag order for Michael Cohen. What the judge did was amazing, actually. Everybody can say whatever they want, but Im not allowed to say anything about anybody. Its a disgrace," during a conversation with reporters outside the courtroom last week.
