The Biden Boom? Biden's Immigration Policy Leads To HISTORIC Population Jump

The Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) has reported that the United States has experienced the largest two-year increase in its foreign-born population since March 2022.

The CIS findings reveal, "In March 2024 the foreign-born population reached 51.6 million, 5.1 million more than in March 2022the largest two-year increase ever recorded in American History." The report further states that this increase is roughly equivalent to the growth in the foreign-born population in the nine years preceding the COVID-19 pandemic.

Since President Joe Biden assumed office, the number of foreign-born individuals in the US has surged by 6.6 million in 39 months. This translates to an average of nearly 170,000 foreign-born individuals immigrating to the US each month since Biden's inauguration.

The CIS has previously estimated that approximately 58 percent of the immigration increase is due to illegal immigration, a consequence of the policies implemented under Biden's administration. Of those who arrived after March 2022, only 46 percent are employed. The CIS predicts that if the current trend persists, the US foreign-born population will reach 62.5 million and subsequently 82.2 million by 2040.

This report emerges at a time when Biden's approval ratings are dwindling on the issue of immigration. Recent polls indicate that former President Trump leads Biden by 35 points on this topic. According to a New York Times poll published on Monday, Trump also leads in five out of six crucial swing states. Additionally, the House GOP is set to investigate a significant increase in illegal Chinese immigrants later this week.
