At a recent rally in Wildwood, New Jersey, former President Donald Trump urged current President Joe Biden and the Democratic National Committee (DNC) to refund donations received from individuals he labeled as "antisemites" who are allegedly supporting anti-Israel protests on college campuses nationwide.
Trump addressed the crowd, stating, "Tonight Im officially calling on Joe Biden and the Democrat National Committee to return the donations of all antisemites, America-haters, and financiers of chaos who have funded the chaos on our campuses. Return the money, Joe." He accused these donors of fueling the recent wave of campus protests against Israel.
Investigations conducted by NGO Monitor and other organizations revealed that the financial backers of these protests were prominent names found on the donor lists for Biden and the DNC. Among these were George Soros Open Society Foundations, the Rockefeller Brothers Fund, The Tides Center, and the Westchester Peace Action Committee Foundation. These organizations were identified as funding entities involved in the pro-Palestinian protests on campuses.
Trump further commented on the situation, stating, "They raised plenty of money. When Im president we will not allow our colleges to be taken over by violent radicals and if you come here from another country and try to bring jihadism, or anti-Americanism, or antisemitism to our campuses we will immediately deport you. Youll be out of that school."
The Department of Justice under Biden's administration has yet to initiate an investigation into the alleged civil rights abuses and antisemitic attacks against Jewish students and others on campuses, which are said to have stemmed from these protests.
In addition to his comments on the campus protests, Trump also expressed his support for Israel in its ongoing efforts to eliminate Hamas terrorists from the Gaza Strip. This statement was made in response to Biden's recent interview with CNN, during which he suggested withholding weapons and artillery if Israel decided to invade Rafah, the last stronghold of Hamas.
