Dr. Phil's Controversial Prediction: Paranoid Or Time To Prep?

In a recent episode of his popular television show, Dr. Phil McGraw has called on the public to prepare for potential future government-imposed lockdowns.

McGraw, who faced criticism for his early opposition to the stringent COVID-19 lockdown measures, has reiterated his stance, stating that his initial concerns have been validated.

McGraw addressed his audience, recalling his initial response to the lockdown measures: "When I stepped up in the beginning and said this lockdown is going to create more problems with quality of life than COVID is going to do with taking lives people looked at me like I was insane. I got criticized, called a heretic, they said what is he talking about. Ill tell you what I was talking about, I was talking about exactly what happened and is happening."

He further emphasized the negative impact of school closures on children, arguing that the government failed to adequately plan for the reopening of educational institutions. "When you shut down the schools, the day you shut them down, you better have a plan for reopening them. I didnt see a plan for them to be reopened. And we have an entire generation that is suffering from developmental gaps, educational gaps, mental and emotional challenges and still theres not a good plan to close those gaps."

McGraw also expressed concern about the government's response to potential future pandemics, advocating for a more science-based approach and less government intervention. "And my concern is when the next pandemic turns the corner, whos got the plan thenwe need to think about whether were going to rely on science and how were going to react when the government comes in and starts telling us what we can and cant do. I think we need less government, I think if they would step back, we tend to have a way to work these things out.

Although McGraw has not publicly identified as a conservative or a Republican, his recent comments on various issues seem to align with conservative viewpoints. He has criticized the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) agenda, the practice of performing transgender surgeries on minors, President Joe Biden's immigration policies, and the support for Hamas in American universities.
