During inquiries regarding his forthcoming State of the Union address, one journalist queried Biden about the sentiments he wished to convey to apprehensive Democrats regarding his poll standings.
In response, Biden confidently stated, "My poll numbers? The last five polls you guys don't report. I'm winning five! Five in a row!"
The president then advised the reporter to refer to the New York Times to enhance their understanding of the situation.

Biden's assertion on Tuesday implies that he also emerged victorious in the four preceding polls. However, in the context of the last five polls for a general election face-off between Trump and Biden, Real Clear Politics indicates Trump's triumph in three instances, while 538 shows Trump's victory in two, with one tie.
As of Tuesday, Trump maintains a lead with a margin of +2 overall, according to the Real Clear Politics average.
