WATCH: Jill Biden Heckled By Pro-Palestinian Protester

During a recent campaign stop in Arizona, First Lady Jill Biden was confronted by a pro-Palestinian protester who accused her and President Joe Biden of supporting 'genocide' in Gaza.

"It's a genocide, Jill!" one demonstrator cried out, while another proclaimed, "You and your husband support the genocide of the Palestinian people!" Although President Biden has been the target of hecklers at various events, this marked the first instance of such an incident at a solo event featuring the First Lady.

In response to the disruption, audience members began to boo the protesters, with some shouting, "Four more years." The protesters were eventually escorted out, and Jill Biden expressed her gratitude to the supporters before continuing with her speech.

The interruption occurred during the second stop of the First Lady's Women for Biden tour, which has seen an increase in activity over the past month. The tour's primary focus is on women's rights, with Jill Biden often criticizing former President Donald Trump as being 'dangerous' to women.

The event was disrupted by four pro-Palestine demonstrators within the first 20 minutes of her speech, with nearly 100 protesters gathered outside the venue. Recent polls indicate that young voters, in particular, are dissatisfied with President Biden's handling of the conflict between Israel and Hamas.

The U.N. Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs reports that approximately 576,000 individuals in the Gaza Strip, a quarter of its population, are on the brink of famine.

The death toll has exceeded 30,400. The Biden administration is facing increasing domestic and international pressure to intervene more effectively in Israel and alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian population.

President Biden has been a frequent target of demonstrators, often referred to as 'Genocide Joe' by hecklers criticizing his support for Israel and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the ongoing conflict in Gaza, which escalated following the October 7th terrorist attacks orchestrated by Hamas.

In an attempt to counter these protests, the President's campaign and security teams have been organizing smaller events, withholding specific details from the media until the last minute, and avoiding college campuses, according to NBC News. College students have been among the most vocal protesters.
