WATCH: Chuck Schumer Waves PRC Flag At Manhattan Parade

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer was seen waving a Peoples Republic of China flag during a Manhattan parade on Sunday.

The flag-waving took place at the Lunar New Year parade in New York Citys Chinatown, shortly after the organizers played Chinas national anthem.

According to National Review writer Jimmy Quinn, Schumer, along with other prominent New York politicians, was on stage before the annual parade in Manhattans Chinatown. They were accompanied by Huang Ping, a Chinese ambassador known for denying Beijings human rights violations, and Wu Xiaoming, a senior consular official with ties to Chinas secret police station in New York.

Quinn highlighted that Governor Kathy Hochul had waved a PRC flag at last years parade but seemed to have refrained from doing so at this years event. Schumer, however, accepted the flag that was intended for Hochul.
