Georgia Governor Brian Kemp has announced that he will be deploying additional troops to assist Texas in securing the southern border.

The highly skilled soldiers are expected to arrive in the Lone Star State in the coming spring.

"The crisis on the border is a national problem and it demands a national solution," stated Kemp. "But if the Biden administration continues to fail the American people, then we have no choice but to step in."

Kemp further elaborated, "Therefore, in addition to the Georgia guardsmen already stationed at the border, we will send reinforcements to Texas this spring who will assist with the construction of a forward command post on the border with Mexico."

The governor emphasized that the soldiers being deployed will possess a range of skills, including engineering, mechanical, and general purpose expertise.

This move by Governor Kemp comes as part of ongoing efforts to address the escalating border situation. The deployment of additional troops aims to provide support and assistance to Texas in their border security operations.

The situation at the southern border has been a subject of concern and debate, with critics arguing that the Biden administration has not taken sufficient action to address the issue. Governor Kemp's decision to send reinforcements reflects a growing sentiment among some state leaders that they must take matters into their own hands in the absence of effective federal action.
