Vivek Ramaswamy, known as the CEO of anti-woke, has officially launched his bid for the GOP nomination for the White House in 2024.
He made his announcement live on Fox News Tucker Carlson on Tuesday. Ramaswamy said the following on air:.
We are in the middle of this national identity crisis, Tucker, where we have celebrated our differences for so long that we forgot all the ways we are really just the same as Americans, bound by a common set of ideals that set this nation into motion 250 years ago,
He continued, Thats why I am proud to say tonight that I am running for United States president to revive those ideals in this country. I think we need to put merit back into America in every spirit of our lives. He also insisted that he would end affirmative action and many other policies that many conservatives feel are holding back the country.
Ramaswamy is just 37 years old, but he is the author of Woke, Inc.: Inside Corporate Americas Social Justice Scam, He has remained a public figure who is out front about his opposition to the woke politics of our day.
This politician has recently been on what he calls a listening tour around the country. Most notably, he has spent much time in New Hampshire lately. This is important because its the second state to vote in the Republican primary calendar. Thus, New Hampshire receives an outsized portion of the attention given to the primary calendar. Anyone who wants to make a serious attempt at the Presidency must ensure they are given fair consideration in the New Hampshire primary.
Fox News reports that Ramaswamy plans to make more trips to New Hampshire in the next month. He has planned stops in both Rochester and Manchester.
This isnt just a political campaign; this is a cultural movement to create a new dream for the next generation of Americans, said Ramaswamy as he released a campaign video at the same time that he made his announcement for the White House on Fox News.
He also stated that his campaign is about the unapologetic pursuit of excellence in our country. It means you believe in merit; that you get ahead in this country not on the color of your skin but on the content of your character and your contributions.
