President Biden's third year in the White House has been marked by historically low approval ratings, according to a recent survey conducted by Gallup.

The report, released on Thursday, reveals that Biden's performance in his third year is rated lower than any other President's since Jimmy Carter.

Gallup's analysis of data from twelve polls shows that Biden currently holds an average approval rating of 39.8%. This figure represents the lowest approval rating for a president in his third year since Carter in 1974, who had an average rating of 37.4%.

Biden's approval ratings have seen a steady decline over the years. In his first year, his approval rating stood at approximately 48.9%, followed by approximately 41% in his second year. However, his approval rating hit an all-time low of approximately 37% at three points last year in April, October, and November.

Former President Donald Trump, who is vying for the Republican nomination to challenge Biden in the upcoming November elections, had a 42% approval rating in his third year. Trump recently drew a comparison between Biden and Carter, stating that Biden is the "worst president" ever. Trump criticized Biden's handling of the country, claiming that he is "destroying our country." In contrast, Trump praised Carter, who faced criticism for his handling of the economy and the Iranian hostage crisis, as "brilliant by comparison."
