The Post Millennial reported that former President Trump outlined the steps in his proposed plan to make America safer again should he become President in 2024.
He did this via a video released Monday. In the video, Trump said, On Joe Bidens watch, violent crime has skyrocketed, and communities have become less safe as he defunded, defamed, and dismantled police forces. The 45th U.S. President noted that his plan would end out-of-control crime and showed how he could reduce it. He began by referring to law enforcement officers, saying, Police forces have been gutted by Democrats. He alluded that Democrats wanted to take protections away from our police. Trump said, We want them to do their jobs, and we want them to do their jobs right.
Next, according to the Post Millenial, Trump noted he would press for police departments that receive grants from the Department of Justice (DOJ) to return to proven policing measures. He said these measures could be stop-and-frisk, strictly enforcing existing gun laws, cracking down on the open use of illegal drugs, and cooperating with ICE to arrest and deport criminal aliens.
Trump also said he would direct the DOJ to open civil rights investigations into radical leftist prosecutors officers, such as those in Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Francisco, to determine whether they have illegally engaged in race-based law enforcement. He said he would take on the radical Marxist prosecutors who have abolished cash bail and refused to charge criminals.
The former President also plans to direct the DOJ to break up gangs and the network of drugs in the country. We already know where these turf wars and drug dens are. We know who the people are.
