In a recent interview with Fox News Digital, South Carolina Republican Senator Tim Scott, who has recently announced his engagement, shared some intimate details about his relationship and potential political aspirations.

He discussed the moment he realized his fianc was "the one" and addressed the possibility of her becoming the second lady of the United States in the future.

Scott, 58, revealed that he knew his fianc, Mindy Noce, was the one for him just two weeks into their relationship. "We were in the kitchen area, and I said to myself, everyone says youll know, and I thought that was the dumbest thing Ive ever heard," Scott shared during a rally for former President Trump in New Hampshire. "Well, I knew," he added with a smile, "And when you know, you know, call it a day. I was done at two weeks."

The senator recently made public his proposal to Noce, which took place on Kiawah Island, South Carolina. "Going to the beach and getting on one knee, and asking Mindy to marry me was so much more important than anything else, and I wanted to make sure that that sacred day would not be disturbed by anything political," Scott stated on Fox Newss "Sunday Night in America." He was discussing his interactions with former President Donald Trump regarding a potential endorsement.

Scott, a potential 2024 presidential candidate, introduced Noce, 47, during a debate in November. The couple reportedly met at church about a year ago and have since bonded over Bible study.

The senator, who was in New Hampshire endorsing Trump shortly after his own endorsement, has been speculated to be among Trump's potential Vice Presidential candidates. When asked by Fox News Digital if he had "warned" Noce about the possibility of her becoming the second lady, Scott responded, "I didnt even warn her that I was going to ask her to marry me. I did warn her parents, however, two weeks before Christmas, that I was going to pop the question."

When asked about his chances with his fianc, Scott confidently stated, "Im going to win this race. The good news is I get to set the date for the primary, I get to set the date for the wedding, so its going to be really good. The good news is the primary is going really well, and I want to thank all my constituents who voted for me. I love you, Mindy."
