This week, there was an ugly scene at a Florida high school soccer game when alleged anti-Semitic remarks set off a fight between student-athletes from a Jewish school and a Catholic school.

The New York Post reports that this fight occurred between two high schools in the Miami area, one a Jewish school and one a Catholic school. These schools are Scheck Hillel Community School and Archbishop Coleman Carroll High School. The witness video shows a fight between players of the two schools after the game had concluded.

The video also shows several spectators at the game rushing onto the field and joining in the fight. There were several punches thrown, and many people were hit.

Parents of some of the players at the Jewish school say that some of the Catholic school students yelled Hiter was right and other anti-Semitic remarks. They say that this is what sparked the fight.

The New York Post reports that one official reported injury from this brawl, but the details of who was injured were unavailable.

Both schools issued a joint statement online after stories about anti-Semetic remarks being uttered at the game began circulating online. The statement from the schools said: The Archdiocese of Miami and Scheck Hillel have zero tolerance for any kind of aggressive language and behavior, antisemitism or hate of any kind, and We are thankful for the faculty of both schools, who immediately managed the situation with care and concern for the students.

Both schools are investigating the situation and will take appropriate action against anyone who might have uttered inappropriate comments at the game or otherwise instigated the fight.

The investigation is still ongoing, and the schools are working on the next steps they need to take to make things right again.
