Prague University Killer May Have Successfully Completed A "Dry Run" Prior To The Mass Shooting Spree

A gunman responsible for a horrific rampage in Prague is now suspected of carrying out a "random" attack in a forest near the Czech capital, resulting in the deaths of a man and his newborn baby.

The police have revealed that David Kozak, 24, killed 14 people and injured 25 during his rampage, which targeted students at his university in downtown Prague. Kozak was shot dead by the police after committing the heinous attack.

Prior to the shooting spree, Kozak is believed to have kept a diary on the messaging app Telegram, where he expressed his desire to carry out a school shooting and possibly commit suicide. The police are currently investigating whether Kozak is also responsible for the murder of a father and his two-month-old daughter in Klanovice, near Prague. The authorities are examining the possibility that the two killing sprees may be connected.

The shooting in Prague marks the worst mass shooting in the history of the Czech Republic. The gunman is believed to have been inspired by a school shooting carried out by a 14-year-old schoolgirl in Russia earlier in the month.

In one of his chilling posts, Kozak allegedly wrote about his desire to carry out a school shooting and mentioned the name of Alina Afanaskina, the Bryansk school shooter who killed two students before taking her own life. Kozak's posts in his self-proclaimed 'diary' also revealed his long-standing desire to kill and his belief that he would become a maniac in the future.

The investigation into the double murder in Klanovice is ongoing, and the Czech police are now faced with the task of determining how a mass killing could occur just days later, only a half-hour drive away in Prague.
