Rep. James Comer's Bold Declaration On House Floor Sets Stage For High-Stakes Impeachment Vote Against Joe Biden

In a recent press briefing, Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-LA) announced that a vote is expected this week to potentially launch a formal impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden.

This development follows the White House's resistance to the preliminary impeachment investigation initiated by former Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) in September. As reported by The Gateway Pundit, the House is under pressure to vote on the impeachment of Biden and Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas before the month-long holiday recess.

In anticipation of this critical vote, House Republicans released an 'Impeachment Inquiry Explainer' video. The video, narrated by Rep. Jeff Van Drew (R-NJ), underscores the alleged corruption and abuse of power by the Biden family. Van Drew pointed out that the Biden family is operating an "influence peddling scheme," with evidence of significant payments to the Bidens, including two direct payments to Joe Biden. A troubling WhatsApp message allegedly sent by Hunter Biden to a Chinese executive was also spotlighted.

As the House prepared to vote on a significant resolution regarding the impeachment inquiry into Joe Biden, Kentucky Representative James Comer voiced his support for House Resolution 918, which outlines allegations about Joe Biden and his family's questionable business dealings.

Comer stated that the Oversight Committee's investigation has revealed false statements made by Joe Biden about his family's business activities, the separation of his vice-presidential duties from family business, and profiting from foreign deals, particularly with China.

Rep. Comer detailed that the Biden family had established 20 shell companies and received over $24 million from multiple countries between 2014 and 2019, implicating at least ten Biden family members in these transactions.

The financial trail, according to Comer, was complex enough to raise concerns with banks, leading to over 150 suspicious activity reports to the Treasury Department. One bank investigator who reviewed Hunter Biden's transactions with a Chinese company recommended a reassessment of their business relationship, suggesting potential financial irregularities.

Comer further emphasized that substantial funds linked to the Chinese Communist Party were channeled to the Bidens shortly after Joe Biden's vice presidency concluded, suggesting possible gratitude for past favors. He accused the President of trying to obstruct the investigative process by blocking testimony and withholding records from his vice-presidential tenure.

As the House approaches a crucial vote, Rep. Comer urged his colleagues to back the impeachment inquiry resolution, labeling Biden's actions as "lies, corruption, and obstruction."
