This WWE Legend Had A Thing Or Two To Say About Rihanna's Super Bowl Performance

Millions of people around the world tuned in to watch Rihanna take the stage at the Super Bowl LVII halftime show on Sunday, though former WWE star Bill Goldberg was not a fan of what he saw.

In the few days following the Super Bowl, Goldberg expressed his emotions on his "CarCast" podcast.

"I thought Rihanna was frickin' horrible," Goldberg said. "I was disgusted by it. That's all. Let's just say that. I thought it was horrible."

Rihannas performance earned both praise and criticism; some viewers enjoyed her singing and choice of songs and others were put off by her behavior on stage, such as placing her hand close to her groin and then her nose.

Rihanna left the audience speechless when she showed up for her first live performance in seven years wearing all red, and then broke the news about expecting her second child.

Goldberg commended Chris Stapleton's rendition of the national anthem before the game, noting his appreciation for the fact that the performance did not involve any "grabbing of the crotch" or self-promotion.

Rihanna's performance during halftime of the game was watched by 118.7 million people, with the game itself then being viewed by 113 million people.

In his podcast, Goldberg put forward his views on Rihanna's Super Bowl halftime performance.

"I've noticed that a lot of the people that find Rihanna offensive or are disgusted by her performance at the SB are not at all bothered by a presidential candidate bragging about "grabbing women by the (cat emoji) or a first lady posting nude. Interesting," he remarked.
