Michigan Democrats arent wasting time trying to get their latest gun control fantasies passed into law.
They say they are responding to the latest mass shooting at Michigan State University.
The Gateway Pundit reports that Michigan Democrats gained the majority in the State of Michigan across the board and are not afraid to use it. The Washington Examiner reported on it by saying:
The party now has the opportunity to push through gun control legislation that has been stonewalled by hesitant Republicans. Mondays mass shooting at Michigan State University gives them an opportunity to hurry the legislation through the legislature.
Democratic state Sen. Rosemary Bayer is so excited about the moves that they are making to change the gun laws in Michigan that he told Politico the following:
Were going to try to move faster. After years of not getting an inch, now were making real plans.
It is not surprising to learn that all of the usual suspects applaud the decision to use this moment to push gun control regulations. Figures such as David Hogg and Robert Reich have jumped all over it. However, even David Hogg recently admitted that mass shootings have increased since various gun laws were passed.
One of the most exciting things about all of this is that Democrats are very bold about how excited they are about passing new gun control laws in the state. This is interesting to some people because figures like Hogg say they cant deny that mass shootings have gone up even though gun control laws have been passed.
This certainly seems more like the Democrats want to try to push their ideology about guns and go after lawful gun owners when it comes to passing these laws. This is instead of trying to make real progress on the issue of gun crimes in the state.
