In the wake of the Nashville school shooting, Mayor Freddie OConnell has announced an investigation into the unauthorized release of the shooter's manifesto.

The shooter, identified as Audrey Hale, was a transgender individual whose manifesto revealed an anti-white sentiment. The manifesto was leaked on Monday morning, causing a stir in the already grieving community.

Mayor OConnell expressed deep concern over the incident, stating, "I have directed Wally Dietz, Metros Law Director, to initiate an investigation into how these images could have been released. That investigation may involve local, state, and federal authorities. I am deeply concerned with the safety, security, and well-being of the Covenant families and all Nashvillians who are grieving," as reported by WSMV.

The Mayor also provided resources for those in need of emotional support, urging individuals to reach out to professionals at the National Alliance on Mental Illness, MNPD support counselors, or the MNPS Family Information Center.

The leaked manifesto, consisting of three handwritten pages, was first obtained and released by Steven Crowder. It detailed Hale's meticulous planning of the horrific event that took place on March 27, 2023, at the Covenant School, resulting in the death of three students and three staff members.

The pages, marked with the chilling phrase "DEATH DAY," were reportedly received from a "source near law enforcement," according to a source with the Louder with Crowder show who spoke to The Post Millennial.

In the manifesto, Hale expressed a mix of nervousness and excitement, writing, "Im a little nervous, but excited too, been excited for the past two weeks." Hale also noted the close calls in the past, stating, "There were several times I could have been caught, especially in the summer of 2021. None of that matters now, Im almost an hour and 7 minutes away."

Hale's manifesto also contained disturbing entries, including, "Kill those Kids!!!" and derogatory comments about the victims, revealing a deep-seated resentment towards them.
