WATCH: Mark Levin's Explosive Response To Media's False Narratives

Written by Published

Prominent conservative radio host Mark Levin has launched a scathing attack on the media, accusing them of spreading false narratives about his recent comments concerning the Jewish heritage of a CNN anchor.

The controversy began when Media Matters, a left-leaning media watchdog, published an article criticizing Levin for remarks he made on his radio show.

CNN followed suit, publishing an article that echoed the sentiments expressed in the Media Matters piece. Oliver Darcy, the author of the CNN article, sought a comment from the White House, which also condemned Levin and Fox News, where Levin also hosts a show.

Andrew Bates, the deputy White House press secretary, criticized Fox News for aligning with those who stoke hatred. "Not only is Fox News aligning with those who fan the flames of hate Fox is paying their salaries," Bates said. He added, "Lying to insult the pain that families suffered in the Holocaust has absolutely no place in America. None. Sadly, this is not the first time in recent months that a Fox News host made sickening remarks about the Holocaust."

Several other media outlets, including the Washington Post, the Times of Israel, and the Daily Beast, also reported on Levin's comments. These reports focused on a quote from Levin's radio show, in which he criticized CNN anchors Wolf Blitzer and Jake Tapper, stating that CNN is "filled with a lot of self-hating Jews."

In response to the media backlash, Levin, who is Jewish, clarified his comments on his show. He criticized the media for relying on Media Matters as a source, a progressive outlet known for targeting conservatives and which has received funding from George Soros.

"NEVER AGAIN, MEDIA, WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT," Levin wrote on social media. "The media CANNOT stop lying, using Soros's Media Matters as their source and using their spin, the sickening statement from an anonymous CNN spokesman, then, of course, the Washington Post (which was silent during most of the Holocaust), and now, to top it off, a Biden regime propagandist."

Levin also took aim at the media's coverage of recent events in Israel, accusing them of using Hamas lies and regurgitating Biden administration talking points. He further criticized the New York Times and Washington Post for their historical coverage of the Holocaust.

"I will not allow the corporate media, and their numerous propagandists, to get away with their hate and lies. Never again will the media be free to push a hateful narrative without pushback from me and conservatives like me. They can try and use the words were' or weren't' to distract from what is really happening, and ask a Biden lapdog staffer for his input, but it will not work," Levin declared.
