In a recent video, renowned actor John Voight expressed his disagreement with his daughter, Angelina Jolie, over her comments concerning the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict.
Voight asserted that Jolie lacked a comprehensive understanding of the situation, stating she had "no understanding of God's honor" and failed to comprehend the potential devastation that the terrorist group Hamas could inflict on "the land of the Jews."
Voight, referring to the ongoing conflict, stated, "This is justice for God's children of the holy land." He emphasized the necessity for the Israeli army to safeguard their territory, despite opposition from the left. He pointed to the "inhuman terror" perpetrated by Hamas and suggested that those who view Israel as the "problem" should introspect and reflect on God's "truths."
Voight further argued that those who discern the truth would comprehend that Israel is the victim in this conflict. He highlighted the unjustifiable massacre of women, children, and babies on October 7th. He also noted that Palestinians are "not being neglected" and have received substantial "infusions of money," which they have unfortunately used for weapon production rather than for the welfare of their people.
Voight continued, stating that while everyone should aspire for peace, it is impossible to achieve such goals with "animals" like Hamas attacking Jews and Christians with the intent to eradicate them from the Earth. He refuted the "lie" that Israel is holding Gaza's citizens hostage, asserting that they are "free to go." In contrast, Voight claimed that Hamas uses Palestinian civilians as "shields" during their military confrontations with the Israeli Defense Force (IDF).
"These children of Palestinian soil are being used by these animals to make all think that Israel is taking lives, when indeed this was Hamas' plan to create the war of evil versus good," Voight said. He added that Hamas initiated the attacks on Israel, leading to the current war, and that the Jewish people, who have endured oppression and hardship for centuries, are fighting to defend themselves.
Voight concluded by stating that Israel, "the land of purity God's promise," will emerge victorious in the war. His comments come amidst a wave of celebrity opinions on the Israel-Hamas conflict, with figures like Gal Gadot and Jerry Seinfeld signing an open letter condemning the Hamas attacks following the October 7 incidents. Subsequently, several Hollywood figures urged President Biden to secure the release of hostages in Gaza.
