Pro-Hamas Demonstrators Shock Onlookers With Fake Blood Stunt At White House

On Saturday evening, a large group of pro-Hamas demonstrators converged on the White House, staining the northwest gates with imitation blood.

The crowd's chants of "Allahu Akbar!" resonated with observers, eerily reminiscent of the Hamas terrorists who claimed the lives of over 1,400 Israelis on October 7.

In a surprising turn of events, the protesters in Washington D.C. breached the fences surrounding the White House, brandishing Palestinian flags and antisemitic banners within the White House perimeter.

Typically, such violations of the perimeter result in immediate apprehension, but this was not the case on this occasion. Although video footage suggests some attempts by the U.S. Secret Service to disperse the crowd, the protesters largely appeared to dominate the situation. Disturbingly, there seemed to be minimal effort to prevent the crowd from defacing the White House with red paint.

The demonstration had initially commenced at Freedom Plaza earlier on Saturday, with the declared aim of advocating for a ceasefire. However, the protest rapidly deteriorated into chants of From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free! and numerous antisemitic signs were visible among the crowd. Images soon surfaced of iconic D.C. landmarks defaced with pro-Hamas signs.

As the agitated crowd marched down Pennsylvania Avenue towards the White House, several participants took the opportunity to spray graffiti messages on city buildings. The Israeli embassy to the United States reported that a building in Washington D.C. was vandalized with antisemitic graffiti messages such as "Death to Israel" and "Glory 2 the Martyrs."

This protest in D.C. was one of many pro-Hamas marches that occurred on Saturday in cities worldwide. As reported by RedState's Bob Hoge, unruly crowds took to the streets in cities such as London, Berlin, Paris, Ankara, Istanbul, and San Francisco.

In France, crowds were heard shouting, Israel assassin! Macron accomplice! Meanwhile, in London, video footage showed Metropolitan police officers instructing bystanders, who were military veterans, to remove their Union Jack flags as Palestinian flags were paraded past them.

Similar scenes unfolded repeatedly on Saturday, but perhaps the most shocking and infuriating sight for the American public was the public and unashamed defacement of the White House, likely by individuals who are in the country illegally or on temporary visas. Given that D.C. is home to several colleges and universities, it is probable that the crowd's size and, regrettably, the antisemitic sentiment, were amplified by a significant student presence.

Regardless of who is in office, the White House remains a symbol of the American people. Witnessing such a hostile crowd descend upon it with destructive intent is deeply unsettling. While free speech is a fundamental right, the question arises as to why this was permitted to occur and what measures will be taken in response.

It is worth noting that President Biden was not present at the White House on Saturday, having chosen to spend the weekend at his residence in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.
