Alan Ruck, renowned for his roles in "Succession" and "Ferris Buellers Day Off," was reportedly involved in a vehicular accident that resulted in his truck crashing into a restaurant on Wednesday.
The incident, which caused significant damage to Raffalos Pizza on Hollywood Boulevard, is currently under investigation.
TMZ, a popular entertainment news outlet, released video footage capturing the moments before and after the crash. The visuals reveal Ruck's truck embedded in the brick exterior of the restaurant, a consequence of a four-way collision that transpired around 9:00 p.m. The Rivian truck was severely damaged, and the restaurant bore the brunt of the impact both internally and externally.
Bystanders who chanced upon the scene were seen capturing images of the wreckage. Some visibly shocked witnesses dialed for help while surveying the scene.
According to TMZ, sources close to the incident reported that two individuals were injured in the collision. However, both were conscious and breathing when they were transported for medical evaluation. The same sources confirmed that no pedestrians were harmed during the incident and dismissed the involvement of alcohol in the accident.
Ruck, celebrated for his portrayal of Connor Roy in "Succession" and Cameron Frye in "Ferris Buellers Day Off," appeared to escape serious injury. TMZ reported that he was observed outside his truck, mobile in hand, seemingly unscathed.
Surveillance footage revealed a collision between Ruck's truck and another vehicle, culminating in the actor's truck crashing into the restaurant. The video captured Ruck's truck rear-ending another vehicle, propelling it into the intersection. The truck continued its trajectory, coming to a halt only after plowing through the restaurant.
