The latest Gallup poll reveals a significant drop in President Joe Biden's approval rating among Democrats, marking the lowest point in his presidency.

The President's approval within his party has seen an 11-point decrease over the past month, settling at 75%. The poll, conducted on Thursday, also indicates a four-point drop among Independent voters, with the approval rating now standing at 35%.

Biden's overall approval rating has also seen a decline, currently at 37%, a four-point decrease since September. However, his approval rating among Republicans remains static at 5%.

The Gallup poll suggests that Biden's swift and assertive support for Israel following the October 7 attacks by Hamas may have alienated some within his party. This has resulted in the worst assessment of the President by Democrats since he assumed office. The poll further states, "Bidens overall approval rating likewise matches his personal low."

In October, President Biden has been at the helm of the United States' response to the terrorist attack on Israel by Hamas. His initial response was met with criticism from notable Conservative media figures. They lambasted Biden for his absence from public view and for hosting a barbecue for White House staff and their families amidst the escalating conflict in the Middle East.

The poll, conducted from October 2 to October 23, surveyed 1,009 adults within the United States and has a margin of error of 4 points.

In response to the initial backlash, Biden visited Israel to demonstrate the United States' commitment to the country during its conflict with Hamas. The President also delivered a rare address from the Oval Office concerning the war in Israel, where he highlighted an aid package that allocates funds to both Ukraine and Israel.

The Gallup poll concludes by stating, "The Israeli-Palestinian conflict comes at a time when Americans remain pessimistic about the economy, the Biden administration is struggling to deal with increasing numbers of migrants attempting to enter the country, and debate continues about how much aid to provide to Ukraine in its war with Russia."
