Explosive Footage: Cartel Tactics Intimidate Law Enforcement On Texas-Mexico Border As Biden's Neglect Continues (Video)

The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) has reported a concerning incident involving heavily armed cartel members near the Rio Grande.

Drone footage captured on Thursday revealed the intimidating presence of these individuals, a tactic Lieutenant Chris Olivarez of the DPS explains is designed to disrupt law enforcement operations.

"This type of intimidation tactic is commonly used to disrupt law enforcement operations," Lieutenant Olivarez stated. "DPS will maintain a proactive posture & deny illicit transnational criminal activity near the Texas-Mexico border.

The audacity of these cartels is reportedly emboldened by the perceived neglect of the southern border by the Biden administration. Critics argue that this perceived neglect has left a security vacuum, which Texas DPS is now striving to fill to safeguard their border towns.

The Gateway Pundit, a conservative news outlet, has been consistently reporting on border issues since the inauguration of President Biden in January 2021. The problems extend beyond the cartels, with a steady influx of illegal immigrants also causing concern.

A recent incident involving two illegal immigrants from Venezuela has further highlighted the escalating situation. The pair reportedly assaulted a National Guard Soldier in El Paso, Texas.

Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin reported the incident, stating, A woman grabbed the soldier around the neck, trying to push him down, while a male grabbed his leg, causing him to fall into razor wire. Both arrested.

This incident occurred at Gate 36, a known hotspot for illegal border crossings. The assailants were identified as Karla Dividay Matar Jaimes, 38, and Yoel Jesus Guerra Urdaneta, 33. Both have been charged with assault, according to Texas DPS.

Critics argue that the current administration's perceived lax enforcement of border laws is sending a dangerous message to potential illegal immigrants. The fear is that this perceived leniency is not only encouraging illegal immigration but also fostering a sense of lawlessness, as evidenced by the assault on the National Guard Soldier.
