Hezbollah Joins In On The TERROR: Rockets Rain On Israel As Conflict With Hamas Escalates

Hezbollah, the militant group based in Lebanon, has entered the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas, firing numerous rockets and shells at Israeli positions along the country's border with Syria's Israeli-occupied Golan Heights.

The attack, carried out in solidarity with the "Palestinian resistance," involved a significant number of projectiles, according to Hezbollah's statement.

In response, the Israeli military retaliated by shelling the areas from which the fire originated on the Lebanese side of the border. As of now, there is no information available regarding casualties resulting from the exchange of fire.

This development comes on the heels of a series of unprecedented attacks by Hamas, the Palestinian political and military organization that has been in control of Gaza since 2007. Hamas launched these attacks on southern Israel through land, sea, and air, prompting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to declare a "state of war." Netanyahu warned that Gaza and Hamas would face an "unprecedented price" for their actions.

Israeli officials have reported that at least 500 people have been killed in Israel since the start of the attacks. On the other hand, the Palestinian Health Ministry has confirmed that at least 232 people in Gaza have lost their lives during Israel's retaliatory measures.

The situation remains tense as Hezbollah's involvement adds another layer of complexity to the already volatile conflict between Israel and Hamas. The international community is closely monitoring the situation, hoping for a swift resolution to prevent further loss of life and escalation of violence.
