Missouri High School English Teacher Resigns To Pursue Adult Entertainment Career

Brianna Coppage, a 28-year-old former English teacher at St. Clair High School in Missouri, has voluntarily resigned from her teaching position to pursue a full-time career in the adult entertainment industry.

Coppage's decision came after school district officials discovered her OnlyFans account, an online platform known for its adult content.

In an interview with The Messenger, Coppage revealed that her decision to leave teaching was driven by her desire to restore normalcy to her students' lives. She expressed her concern about the school continuing to receive negative attention due to her online activities. "My former students deserve to have a great year," she stated.

The identity of the person who initially discovered Coppage's OnlyFans account remains unknown. Coppage expressed her belief that if an adult hadn't reported her account, her students would have remained unaware of her online activities. "Never do I think that students or children should have been exposed to this," she said. "I knew that nothing was ever going to be the same if I went back."

Fox News reported that Coppage had suspicions about the identity of the person who reported her, but she chose not to disclose this information. "I don't want to fight the school district. I'm just ready for peace," she stated.

Coppage has fully embraced her new career, as evidenced by her OnlyFans biography, which reads, "Yes I'm THAT teacher." She credits the publicity she received after being placed on leave with boosting her following on the site. "I've gotten a lot of support on the site, so that's definitely encouraging," she said.

The former teacher revealed that financial considerations played a significant role in her decision to create adult content. The income from her OnlyFans account, which reportedly averages $8,000 per month, has helped her manage her student loan debt incurred while pursuing her master's degree.

Coppage acknowledged the societal expectation for teachers to serve as moral leaders for their students, a notion she does not dispute. "I taught the curriculum. I taught students reading and writing, and I didnt guide them on my thoughts or beliefs," she told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch last month.

Despite the controversy surrounding her career change, Coppage expressed no regret about joining OnlyFans. "I know it can be taboo, or some people may believe that it is shameful, but I dont think sex work has to be shameful," she said. "I do just wish things just happened in a different way."
