According to the website of a private art college in New York, it appears that Shellyne Rodriguez, a former college professor who was fired for threatening a reporter with a machete and destroying a table containing pro-life materials, has landed a new teaching job.

The Cooper Union lists Rodriguez as an adjunct professor, and the college's course catalog shows a sculpture class taught by 'S Rodriguez' for the upcoming fall semester. Rodriguez, who was previously an adjunct assistant professor at Hunter College, made headlines in May after threatening a New York Post reporter with a machete and vandalizing a pro-life display, referring to it as "fucking propaganda."

The machete incident led to Rodriguez being charged with harassment and menacing. It occurred when the Post reporter, Reuven Fenton, and his photographer knocked on Rodriguez's apartment door to obtain a comment on a viral video featuring the professor. After threatening Fenton, Rodriguez pursued him and the photographer onto the street with the machete and allegedly kicked Fenton in the shins. She also reportedly told the Post employees to "get the fuck off the block."

The viral video that prompted the Post reporter's investigation showed Rodriguez destroying a table belonging to Students for Life of America. In the video, she can be seen flipping an object and pushing papers off the table while stating, "you're not educating shit" and "this is fucking propaganda."
